Two injured in 3-car crash on Mill Plain and Chkalov

Two people were reported injured in a three-car crash on Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard Tuesday.
The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Northeast Chkalov Drive and Mill Plain. A car heading north on Chkalov failed to stop at a red light and struck two vehicles heading west on Mill Plain, according to a Vancouver police bulletin.
Two victims were taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Two vehicles were towed from the scene. No names were released.
The crash caused a significant traffic jam during the morning commute.
