Bomb fails to blow up car in Rochester

ROCHESTER, Wash. (AP) -- The Thurston County sheriff's office is investigating a car bombing in Rochester.

There was a small explosion, and Lt. Greg Elwin tells KIRO-TV (http://bit.ly/pIIuKB ) it was a significant attempt to destroy the car.

The bombing was discovered last week when a woman spotted yellow wires going into the gas tank. Now she says she's living in fear and can't sleep.

Investigators say they have no suspects.
