AUBURN, Ala. (AP) — Freshman quarterback Kiehl Frazier is carving a bigger role for himself in No. 15 Auburn’s offense.

Frazier heads to his home state for a game at No. 10 Arkansas Saturday with an increasing presence as the Tigers’ Wildcat quarterback.

He has quickly become a fan favorite despite attempting just one pass. Frazier’s running ability has supplied a boost to an offense that has needed one at times.

He was even trending on Twitter after a 22-yard run in the upset of South Carolina, two days after coach Gene Chizik had a sit-down talk with his presumed quarterback of the future.

Chizik says he told Frazier that “when you get in the game you just need to be you.” Auburn tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen calls Frazier “a miniature Cam” Newton.
