Clark County — Clark County welcomed 16.8 percent fewer new arrivals in September, compared with the same month last year, as measured by local driver’s license applications.

According to the Washington Department of Licensing, 1,160 people traded in out-of-county driver’s licenses for local ones last month, about even with August’s 1,104 applications and down significantly from 1,394 Clark County licenses issued in September 2010.
