Northcrest — When former POW/MIA World War II Veteran Dale Bowlin decided to downsize and begin the next chapter in his life, he contacted Soroptimist International of Southwest Washington. The Soroptimists had been providing some support to Bowlin during the past month, so having them handle his estate sale Sept. 24 was a natural choice.

The club’s portion of the proceeds from the sale will help many programs and services that Soroptimist provides to Clark County.

Debra Adams, president-elect of the Soroptimist International Southwest Washington club said remnants from the sale will be donated to local nonprofits, including many of the YWCA Clark County programs.
