PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- A report has surfaced of another bus driver for the Portland-area mass transit agency TriMet making a rider with a fussy toddler get off a bus.
The Oregonian reports (http://bit.ly/quyPcF ) that TriMet sent an out-of-service bus in August to pick up Amy Pittman and her 2-year-old son after a male driver ejected them miles from their suburban home.
Last week riders reported that a female driver stopped a bus, saying she couldn't safely drive while a woman's 2-year-old daughter was crying.
TriMet says the male bus driver was disciplined. The female driver is on leave while the agency investigates.
The agency says it reminded all its drivers Tuesday that crying and noise from youngsters isn't a violation of rules against noise intended to cause disruption.
