Child development screenings for children who have not yet entered kindergarten will be available in the Ridgefield, La Center and Hockinson areas.
The screenings are available for children 3-5 years old. Children will be screened in speech and language, and cognitive and motor development.
Results are confidential and are discussed with parents following the screening.
Screenings are available for residents in the Ridgefield School District on Oct. 7, the La Center School District on Oct. 13 and the Hockinson School District on Nov. 4.
Educational Service District 112 and the school districts sponsor the screenings.
Appointments are required.
