PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Two people suspected in the death of a Washington woman have been issued fugitive warrants by the states of Oregon and Washington and will face arraignments in California on Friday.

David Joseph Pedersen and his girlfriend, Holly Grigsby, were stopped Wednesday afternoon north of Sacramento. They are suspects in the death of Pedersen’s stepmother in Everett, Wash., and have been named persons of interest in the slaying of an Oregon teenager.

Pedersen’s father is missing and considered endangered.

Yuba County District Attorney Pat McGrath says the 31-year-old Pedersen and 24-year-old Grigsby will be arraigned on weapons and car-theft charges in California.

McGrath says they will also be arraigned on fugitive complaints from Washington and Oregon.

They will then be given the option to waive their extradition or contest it.
