NEW YORK (AP) — Musical Rain and jockey Ramon Dominguez rallied for a 214-length victory over Adjacent on Friday in the $55,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares on the turf at Belmont Park.
A 4-year-old trained by Dale Romans, Musical Rain ran the 1 1-16 miles in 1:43.49 for her third win in 25 starts.
Musical Rain paid $15.40, $6.70 and $3.90. Adjacent, the 2-1 favorite, returned $4.80 and $3. Crescenda paid $2.80 to show.
