PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Amanda Marshall has been sworn in as the new U.S. attorney for Oregon.
Appointed by President Obama, Marshall takes over from Dwight Holton, who has been interim U.S. attorney for the past 20 months. The Senate Judiciary Committee approved her nomination last month.
Chief District Judge Anne Aiken administered the oath of office on Friday in Portland.
Marshall says she’s “honored to serve in this new capacity.”
