EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield sat out practice on Friday with a neck injury and is listed as doubtful for the game on Sunday against Arizona.

Winfield was injured last weekend at Kansas City and has not practiced at all this week. That would seem to make him a long shot to play against the Cardinals. But coach Leslie Frazier says Winfield’s neck has improved and the team will check with him on Saturday to see how he feels.

The 0-4 Vikings sure could use him. Cardinals running back Beanie Wells had a breakout game last week, but their bread and butter remains the passing game and star receiver Larry Fitzgerald.

Punter Chris Kluwe is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury.
