PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Kyle Newhall-Caballero capped a late 99-yard drive with an 18-yard touchdown pass to Jonah Fay with 3:04 remaining, sealing Brown’s 20-13 comeback win over Holy Cross on Saturday.

Newhall-Caballero marched the Bears (3-1) the length of the field in nearly six minutes and 11 plays, taking the lead for good on a scrambling third down touchdown throw. He finished 25 of 39 for 229 yards and two touchdowns.

Brown led 10-6 at halftime after Newhall-Caballero’s first TD pass, a 9-yarder to Tellef Lundevall.

But Ryan Taggart threw a 9-yard TD pass of his own to Gerald Mistretta, putting the Crusaders (2-3) ahead 13-10 after three quarters.

Alexander Norocea kicked a 34-yard field goal early in the fourth to even the score, setting up the game-winning touchdown drive engineered by Newhall-Caballero.

Holy Cross outgained Brown 373-324 but had an interception and a lost fumble, while the Bears were without a turnover.
