Jacksonville rallies to beat Dayton 34-26

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — J.J. Laster scored two touchdowns in the final five minutes as Jacksonville rallied to defeat Dayton 34-26 on Saturday in a battle of Pioneer Football League defending co-champions.

The Dolphins (4-2, 3-0) have won 14 conference games in a row and 11 straight at home.

Laster scored on a 2-yard run to put Jacksonville ahead 27-26 with 4:11 remaining, then caught a 35-yard touchdown pass from Josh McGregor with 47 seconds left. Laster rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns, and caught four passes for 63 yards.

McGregor, despite throwing three interceptions, passed for 299 yards and three touchdowns for the Dolphins.

In 2008, the last time the two teams played each other, the Dolphins scored all their points in the final 11 minutes to win 19-14.

Taylor Harris rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns for the Flyers (3-2, 1-1), who had their six-game road winning streak snapped.
