Letter: McEnerny-Ogle preferred

As a small-business owner, I was dumbfounded to read that Bill Turlay lacked a city business license for the past 11 years, yet he is running his campaign on his business savvy. These license fees are a valuable source of revenue for the city. When interviewed about his negligence, Turlay indicated that he lacked the knowledge concerning this requirement and that rules governing this requirement were complicated. If this was too complicated for Turlay, how can he possibly be qualified to hold a seat on the Vancouver City Council?

With Turlay’s questionable business experience now exposed, voters need to elect Anne McEnerny-Ogle.
