Letter: Turlay will listen and serve residents

The Columbian
Published: October 7, 2011, 5:00pm

I most unequivocally encourage all residents of Vancouver to vote for Bill Turlay for city council. Turlay is the candidate who will listen, work on your behalf and be a benefactor to our city. I know Turlay as a neighbor and a friend. He is not perfect, but when he makes a mistake, he admits it, accepts responsibility and corrects it.

Turlay served our country with honor, distinction and integrity as an officer in the U.S. Navy and I have the utmost faith he will do the same for the city of Vancouver.
