FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Center Nick Mangold of the New York Jets and tight end Aaron Hernandez are active Sunday after missing two games with injuries.

Mangold was sidelined with a high right ankle sprain, while Hernandez had a sprained left knee. Defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth also was active for the Patriots after missing two games with a back injury.

The Patriots were without star linebacker Jerod Mayo (knee) and running back Danny Woodhead (ankle). Both were hurt in last Sunday’s 31-19 win at Oakland. The other inactive Patriots were wide receiver Julian Edelman, safety Josh Barrett, tackle Sebastian Vollmer, and defensive lineman Mike Wright and quarterback Ryan Mallett.

Colin Baxter, who filled in for Mangold, was inactive for the Jets.
