Stolen car driver dies in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Police say the driver of a stolen car was killed in a high-speed crash early Monday in Portland.
A patrol officer who noticed the car speed past him was turning around when it crashed into two parked cars and landed in a yard in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood.
The driver died at the scene.
The car had been stolen Sunday night.
