ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Michigan has been tough to beat in second halves this season.

That’s why the 11th-ranked Wolverines are still undefeated.

Michigan’s success after halftime and overall is about to be put to a test.

The Wolverines will travel to play No. 23 Michigan State on Saturday, trying to avoid matching a school record with a fourth straight loss to the one-loss Spartans.

Despite Michigan’s 6-0 record, first-year coach Brady Hoke says he’s not happy with how his team has played. Hoke, though, credits his players for listening and learning from their new coaches when adjustments are made during games.

Wolverines defensive end Ryan Van Bergen says the team’s confidence is growing because it believes in Hoke and his assistants.
