Champion filly from 2010 Blind Luck to be sold

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Blind Luck, last year's 3-year-old filly champion and Kentucky Oaks winner, is being offered for sale during Keeneland's November Breeding Stock Sale.

The announcement comes a week after it was reported she wouldn't compete in the Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic on Nov. 4 at Churchill Downs. On Oct. 1, she finished last in the $250,000 Lady's Secret Stakes, beaten by 19 lengths. Blind Luck, who had never finished worse than third in 22 starts, has earnings of more than $3.2 million with 12 victories.

The Keeneland sale is Nov. 7-17. Also included will be seven other Grade I stakes-winning fillies and race mares: Buster's Ready, Gypsy's Warning, Hoof Why, Life At Ten, Royal Delta, Switch and Unrivaled Belle.
