SEATTLE (AP) — Occupy Seattle protesters spent a low-key Friday night in a downtown park, their focus on events planned for Saturday.

Spokesman Andrew Tsao (Sao) says a noon rally is planned at Westlake Park, followed by a 3 p.m. march to Chase bank in downtown Seattle.

Demonstrators who have occupied the park for two weeks in support of the Occupy Wall Street protest against corporate power are calling for supporters to pitch “500 tents” in the park later Saturday.

City regulations bar camping in parks. Assistant Police Chief Mike Sanford has said police have been allowing protesters to remain in Westlake Park after it closes at 10 p.m. as long as they aren’t “camping.”

Ten demonstrators were arrested Thursday night for refusing to leave a makeshift structure in the park.
