The Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument will host a community meeting in Vancouver next week to highlight recent investments and future plans at the site.

Events and changes at the monument this year included a documentary movie premiere, new high-resolution signs and other facility upgrades, according to the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Other updates are planned for the next two years, according to forest officials. Those developments stemmed from the monument’s Strategic Investment Plan.

The meeting is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Gifford Pinchot National Forest headquarters at 10600 N.E. 51st Circle in Vancouver.
