EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Donovan McNabb’s inaccuracy has been a hindrance to Minnesota this season.

The 13-year veteran quarterback said Wednesday that all the talk about his passing mechanics is “getting out of hand.” McNabb remained mostly diplomatic at his weekly news conference, but acknowledged surprise at getting booed at home Sunday during a comfortable victory.

McNabb says he is “all about winning” and “not about numbers.”

He has only two turnovers in five games, but the Vikings are 1-4 going into Sunday’s game at Chicago. McNabb has completed only 56.8 percent of his passes for just 849 yards. Both of those totals rank in the bottom six among NFL starting quarterbacks this year.
