PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) -- Basketball fans attending Washington State games will enjoy a new scoreboard this season.
The $3 million scoreboard is ready to go at Beasley Coliseum on the Pullman campus. The scoreboard features four large video screens and a digital message ring around the bottom.
The old scoreboard was installed in 1992 and replacement parts were no longer available.
The decision to purchase a new scoreboard was prompted last spring when the board had a major failure during a game against Gonzaga.
