EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The NFL has fined New York Giants safety Kenny Phillips $20,000 for a hit on Seattle Seahawks tight end Zach Miller.

Phillips was flagged for a hit on a defenseless Miller in the first quarter of the Seahawks’ 36-25 win over the Giants on Sunday.

It marked the second time this season that Phillips has been fined by the league for a hit. He was accessed with a $10,000 fine on the opening weekend of the season for unnecessarily striking Redskins tight end Fred Davis in the head and neck area. No penalty was called on that play.

Phillips hung up both letters from the league in his locker on Wednesday with the fine totals circled. He wrote ‘HELP!’ at the bottom of the first letter and ‘PLEASE HELP’ at the bottom the most recent one.
