Oregon troopers warn Salem protesters of arrests

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Oregon state troopers have warned 15 protesters camping near the Oregon state Capitol they are in jeopardy of arrest on trespassing charges.

The Statesman Journal reports (http://bit.ly/n6kV3i) the warnings went out Tuesday night at the 10 p.m. closing time for Willson Park, which is part of the state parks land at the Capitol.

No arrests had been reported as of Wednesday morning. Police and parks officials said Tuesday they would wait to see the reaction of the protesters who are supporting the Occupy Wall Street movement.
