KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) — Omar Bravo’s apparent goal against his old team was disallowed, and Sporting Kansas City tied Chivas de Guadalajara 2-2 in an international friendly Wednesday night.

Second-half goals by Soony Saad and Kevin Ellis gave Sporting a 2-1 lead, but Chivas’ Erick Torres scored in the 88th minute to salvage the tie.

Marco Fabian converted an early penalty kick for the Mexican side.

Saad scored in the 75th minute to make it 1-1, and Ellis put Kansas City up 2-1 in the 86th.

Bravo appeared to score in the 51st minute but was ruled offside.

Fabian scored in the 20th minute, after Sporting’s Aurelien Collin tripped Carlos Fierro in the penalty area.

Kansas City’s Craig Rocastle was given a straight red card in second-half stoppage time for a hard foul on Torres.
