ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Bills starting defensive tackle Kyle Williams missed his second straight practice due to a sore left foot, and will be a game-time decision Sunday, when Buffalo travels to play the New York Giants.

Coach Chan Gailey provided the update on Thursday. Williams aggravated the injury in the third quarter of a 31-24 win over the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend.

Though Williams won’t disclose the exact nature of the injury, he says it’s something he’s confident he can play through. Williams is the anchor of Buffalo’s defensive front, and appeared in his first Pro Bowl in February.

Linebacker Shawne Merriman returned to practice and worked on a limited basis while nursing a shoulder injury.

The Bills (4-1) are attempting to match their best start since 2008 in playing the Giants (3-2).
