Letter: If you were rich, your view may change

Recently letters have been written quoting Bible verses in regards to taxes and caring for the poor and underprivileged in our society. The verse of the day is Matthew 19:25: “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” If you’re like me, you’ve never seen a camel pass through the eye of a needle nor do you anticipate ever seeing such an event.

Taking this into consideration, it seems the only caring thing to do is tax the heck out of the rich. If I were a rich man I’m sure that in the end I would appreciate this action.
