Ed Lynch and the late Dollie Lynch have been named lifetime award winners for philanthropy by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Oregon and Washington chapter.
The Lynches will be honored along with several more award winners at a Philanthropy Awards Luncheon on Nov. 15, which is National Philanthropy Day.
According to a statement from AFP, the Lynches have won the Vollum Award for Lifetime Philanthropic Achievement. The Vollum Award “recognizes individuals who have tirelessly committed themselves to bettering their community through serving, funding and enlisting support for a range of community charitable causes.”
Ed Lynch is the retired president of the Kiewit Pacific Company. He and Dollie long supported causes such as the Fort Vancouver National Trust, the Community Foundation and the Southwest Washington Medical Center Foundation.
