SEATTLE (AP) — Dozens of tents remain in downtown Seattle’s Westlake Park Monday morning after a weekend of Occupy Seattle demonstrations.
Police are closely monitoring the group that is defying city orders to remove the tents and not to camp overnight in the park.
The city has tried to move the demonstrators to City Hall Plaza and out of the retail core.
Some demonstrators say they’ll remain in Westlake Park to carry on their protest against corporate power.
