TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — New Orleans coach Sean Payton appeared to injure his left leg during a collision early in the first quarter of the Saints game Sunday at Tampa Bay.
Payton fell to the ground and appeared to get his left leg caught underneath Saints tight end Jimmy Graham when he was tackled by a Bucs defender on the New Orleans sideline.
Payton stayed down while receiving attention from medical staff before being helped to the bench.
He remains there with his leg propped on the bench, but still has on his headset.
