Up in Time wins Ramser Stakes at Santa Anita

ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) -- Up in Time rallied to beat Celestial Kitten by 114 lengths Sunday in the $100,000 Harold C. Ramser Sr. Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.

Ridden by Martin Garcia, Up in Time ran a mile on the turf in 1:34.25 and paid $12.40, $6 and $4.20.

Celestial Kitten returned $7 and $3.80, while Bauble Queen was another neck back in third and paid $4 to show. Sarah's Secret, the 19-10 favorite, finished fifth.

The victory, worth $60,000, increased Britain-bred Up in Time's career earnings to $198,576, with four wins in 10 starts. She has three wins since arriving in the United States.
