PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Portland Police have arrested a woman after an early Sunday stabbing on a Portland train.

The Oregonian (http://bit.ly/npxBRu ) reports police officers found a man blooding from multiple stab wounds near the Rose Garden Arena just after midnight.

Officers learned a woman suspected of stabbing the man was in the next MAX train and arrested her. The suspect, 22-year-old Jennifer Poston, was taken into custody without incident.

Police believe the stabbing happened when a verbal argument on the train turned physical. None of the 30-year-old Andy Bloomstrom’s injuries appears to be life threatening.

Poston has been booked into the Multnomah County Jail on one count of second-degree assault.
