ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Denver Broncos defensive lineman Ryan McBean has been arrested on suspicion of stalking.

McBean turned himself in Friday and is free after posting a $50,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 28.

McBean was at practice Monday as the Broncos returned from their bye week. Denver head coach John Fox said the team was aware of the arrest and that they were “gathering information.”

McBean is the second Broncos player arrested since the NFL lockout was lifted this summer. Kicker Matt Prater was charged with drunken driving and fleeing the scene of an accident on Aug. 2.

If convicted of stalking, McBean could face up to three years in prison.
