Jets C Mangold active, Dolphins S Clemons out

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — New York Jets center Nick Mangold is starting against the Miami Dolphins on Monday night after being listed as questionable.

Mangold missed two games with a high right ankle sprain before returning last Sunday at New England. He was limited in practice Friday and Saturday.

Dolphins starting safety Chris Clemons (hamstring) was inactive, and was replaced by Reshad Jones.

New York’s inactives were: defensive backs Donald Strickland and Isaiah Trufant, wide receiver Logan Payne, running back Bilal Powell, center Colin Baxter and defensive end Ropati Pitoitua.

Inactive for Miami were: running back Steve Slaton, defensive end Phillip Merling, linebacker Ikaika Alama-Francis, tight end Will Yeatman and offensive linemen Will Barker and Ryan Cook.
