Letter: Ask C-Tran to tighten its budget

The Columbian

I encourage everyone to vote “no” on Proposition 1, the C-Tran sales tax increase. The last time they did this they wanted money to keep buses on, so they said.

In 2009, after raising fares, the C-Tran board also gave the top managers a nice pay raise. Now is the time for them to give back those pay raises to keep the bus routes. They think everyone has forgotten about them getting a nice pay raise. Will they do it again? Yes in a heartbeat.
