BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Les Miles says LSU’s defense has to be ready for Auburn to change quarterbacks and must be mindful that going against a less experienced signal caller isn’t always easier.

No. 1 LSU has played its last two games against teams with fill-in starters at quarterback and dominated both, beating Florida 41-11 and defeating Tennessee 38-7.

In those cases, injuries led to quarterback changes.

However, if Auburn coach Gene Chizik makes a change, it’ll be by choice. Miles says his team has to assume the decision will make Auburn better.

Chizik does not plan to announce his starting quarterback until Tuesday. The candidates are Barrett Trotter, who has been the starter so far, and Clint Moseley, who played the second half of No. 19 Auburn’s 17-6 victory against Florida last weekend.
