Body found near Beverly Beach identified

NEWPORT, Ore. (AP) -- The Lincoln County medical examiner has identified the body found Saturday on the beach near Beverly Beach State Park as a 38-year-old woman, Kayoko Umenishi, from the town of Neotsu, near Lincoln City.
She had been reported missing last Wednesday, and the Lincoln County sheriff's office is investigating. There is no evidence of a crime.
