The website Livability.com rated the Top 10 summer fairs, and Clark’s County’s version made the cut.

“The Livability.com team examined fairs across the country, looking at attendance, total entertainment value and the quality of life in the community to come up with a list of what we feel are some of the best fairs the country has to offer,” according to the website. “They got our blue ribbons. See if they get yours.”

The Clark County Fair ranked No. 9.

“While it’s actually held in nearby Ridgefield, WA, the folks in Vancouver feel much a part of the Clark County Fair. It is their county after all and Vancouver is the original location of the fair. You can count on Clark County to deliver a fun fair. It’s been a hit since 1868. The Comcast Kids Park and Radio Disney will keep kids busy, while foodies will flock to various culinary contests such as the Cheesecake Contest, the Hershey’s Cocoa Classic Contest and the Amazing Scone Baking Race,” the rankers wrote.

Coming in at No. 1? The New York State Fair in Syracuse.
