RiteCare of Washington and the Vancouver Scottish Rite are presenting the first “Beyond Words” fundraising breakfast this week.

The breakfast is at 7:30am Oct. 20 at the Vancouver Masonic Center. The breakfast will highlight RiteCare’s speech and language services for young children.

The event will feature keynote speaker Jane Lanigan, assistant professor/Extension specialist in Human Development at Washington State University Vancouver.

Attendees will also hear from families whose children have found their voice through services offered by RiteCare of Washington.

RiteCare of Washington provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to children ages 2-7 whose primary disorder is a severe delay in language or speech development. The organization also provides professional screening, therapy and family-centered parent support and education at no cost to families.

For more than 21 years, Scottish Rite Masons have been raising funds to support clinics and education programs in Washington State.

There is no charge to attend the fundraising breakfast, but participants will have the opportunity to make a financial gift to RiteCare of Washington if they choose.

For more information or to RSVP for the Breakfast, please call or e-mail Delena Meyer at 360-281-4743 or delena@ritecarewa.org.
