2 arrested, suspect sought in E. Ore. beating

UMATILLA, Ore. (AP) -- Authorities in Umatilla say they're seeking a suspect in a beating death.
The East Oregonian reported that (http://bit.ly/qoB55H ) two people are in custody, and Umatilla County District Attorney Dan Primus said Wednesday the public is not in danger from a third suspect.
The identities of the victim and the suspects were not released.
The paper says police records show a 911 caller at a truck stop police Tuesday night that a boy was lying in the middle of the street and several young men had run toward the truck-stop restaurant.
Primus says the victim died shortly afterward at a hospital.
