JAY BECKER, King’s Way Christian: Becker ran for 198 yards and two TDs and passed for 428 yards and 8 TDs (all in the second half) as King’s Way beat Wishkah Valley 78-52.

KORRIE STEPHENSON, Ridgefield: Stephenson had 26 kills and two aces in two league wins last week for the second-place Spudders in the 1A Trico League

Boys cross country

SEAN EUSTIS, Washougal: Eustis placed seventh overall in the elite race at the Concordia/Adidas Classic in Portland.

Girls cross country

CHANTALLE BLUNDELL, Hockinson: Blundell won the Finn Hill 5,000 at Aldberbrook Park in Hockinson.

Girls soccer

JOCELYN BURGESS, La Center: Burgess had six goals and one assist in three league wins last week for the Wildcats, who are in second place the 1A Trico League.

Boys tennis

TIM ESCUE, Battle Ground: Escue won three straight-set matches from the No. 1 singles position for Battle Ground.

Boys golf

BOON KUSOLSOMBOON, Fort Vancouver: Kusolsomboon shot a 1-under 71 in the second round to win the 3A district championship by one stroke at Tri-Mountain.

Girls swimming

KRISTA HELT, Columbia River: Helt won the 200 freestyle, placed second in the 100 backstroke, and helped River to a pair of relay victories.
