Letter: Disagree but don’t promote falsehood

In reference to the cartoon on the Oct. 12 Opinion page, I consider the implication that the Occupy movement is promoting Soviet-style Communism an outrage. Such falsehoods may work with the Fox News zombies, but they don’t work with most moderates and progressives.

One may not agree with their methods, but the Occupy groups have a message that has merit for many people. Calling people you don’t agree with communists is a really worn-out tactic.
