Letter: Ward works on all C-W port issues

The Columbian
Published:

The Oct. 16 Columbian headline, “Port of Camas-Washougal commissioners contest up in the air,” doesn’t refer to a close race, but to challenger Neil Cahoon’s only real issue, the port’s Grove Field airport.

Cahoon has expressed his unhappiness that more public funds are not being spent on behalf of local pilots. His other professed concerns (transparency, economic development and fiscal accountability) are areas where incumbent Commissioner Bill Ward has excelled.

If Grove Field is your issue, you might want to vote for Cahoon. Everybody else should vote to re-elect Ward.
