Battle Ground Public Schools is seeking applications for a vacancy on the superintendent’s fiscal advisory committee.
The volunteer group advises Superintendent Shonny Bria on budget, real estate and operational efficiency.
It generally meets one Friday afternoon a month for three to four hours. Occasionally, members also are invited on separate field trips or briefings on school district issues.
The committee represents a cross section of professional and civic backgrounds, including law, accounting, engineering, business, contracting and volunteerism in the schools.
Members are residents of the Battle Ground School District but are not employees of the district.
