Blue Jackets recall Calvert

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- The Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled forward Matt Calvert from their American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield, Mass., and have assigned left wing Maksim Mayorov and defenseman David Savard to the Springfield Falcons.
Calvert played five games with the Blue Jackets this season and four with the Falcons, totaling 24 goals and 21 assists with 24 penalty minutes.
Mayorov has scored two goals in 20 NHL games and has 53 goals and 43 assists in 214 AHL games.
Savard was recalled from Springfield on Thursday and was sent back Friday. He has recorded two assists and six penalty minutes in seven games with the Blue Jackets this season.
