INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Super Bowl Village in Indianapolis will offer some unusual entertainment in the 10-day run before the Feb. 5 game.
The three-block village opens Jan. 27 and will feature the NFL Experience festival for fans inside the city convention center.
Eight bands will perform on two stages downtown. There also will be a 650-foot zip line trek that fans can ride 80 feet above one of Indy’s downtown streets.
Host committee leaders provided the updates Friday, 100 days before the big game.
Organizers are confident Indy’s traditional February weather will not impede the festivities, comparing it to similar challenges fans face at Green Bay games and the Winter Olympics.
