A PANCAKE FEST at St. Andrew Lutheran Church will celebrate how people celebrate the mission of the church through compassion, acceptance and service. ALL SAINTS DAY will be celebrated by students at Pacific Crest Academy, 324 N.E. Oak St., Camas. Students, kindergarten through eighth grade, dress up as saints and present biographical sketches and use props to complement their exhibits, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in a saints museum. Students, in costume, will attend Mass at noon at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.


COMMUNITY CHOIR PRACTICE will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Washougal United Methodist Church, 4020 M St., Washougal to practice singing the Christmas cantata, “Lead Me to Bethlehem.” Everyone welcome; no experience necessary. BENEFIT FOR THE HOMELESS, “Night of Song and Praise,” for the Winter Hospitality Overflow ministry, will be at 7 p.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church, 8701 N.E. 119th St. The concert features the praise teams from Salmon Creek United Methodist Church and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. OSCAR NIGHT, the annual auction fundraiser for Unitarian Universalist Church of Vancouver, at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 5. The auction will have more than 100 services and items to bid on silently, followed by a live auction, 4505 E. 18th St. Those attending are encouraged to dress as a movie star or character because there will be a secret version of Oscar awards during the evening.
