TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona quarterback Kevin Kolb had his right foot in a walking boot on Monday to protect a turf toe injury and said he had “no idea” whether he would be able to play in next Sunday’s home game against the St. Louis Rams.

Kolb was injured early in Sunday’s 30-27 loss at Baltimore but stayed in the game and, in his words, “just tried to gut it out.” He was sacked a season-high six times in the Cardinals’ sixth consecutive loss.

If Kolb can’t go, second-year pro John Skelton probably would get the start. Skelton started four games late last season.

With the Rams and Cardinals matching 1-6 records, Arizona’s 58-game home sellout streak could be in jeopardy.
