Clark College to honor volunteer with award
Thursday, September 1, 2011
Clark College’s Mature Learning program will host a free lecture and celebration for volunteer of the year Don Mattison.
Favorite instructors Elliott Trommald, Cecilia Ranger, Ara Serjoie and Don Miller and others will share music, humor and wit with short vignettes of historical characters.
The event blends a kick-off to the fall term with a tribute to Mattison’s integrity. The program’s volunteer award will now be named the Don Mattison Award.
Festivities run 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Foster Auditorium at Clark’s main campus, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way.
